Colin Harvey chaired an Organizing Committee that established the Veterinary Oral Health Council in 1997 (www.VOHC.org). VOHC makes available the VOHC Accepted Seal, which is awarded to products that have been shown, in a minimum of two trials conducted under the VOHC trial requirements, to meet or exceed the VOHC Standard for retarding formation of dental plaque and/or calculus in dogs or cats. He was Director of the Veterinary Oral Health Council from 1997 until 2019.
